Everyday Jewelry Under $35 in Terrell: Rain and Splendid Iris
The Case Most People Actually Buy From
We have a jewelry case that starts at $65 and runs past $300. It gets photographed a lot.
This post is about the other two cases — the ones that account for most of what actually leaves the store. Rain Jewelry and Splendid Iris, together more than 140 pairs of earrings alone, nearly all of it between $13 and $38.
This is the price band where jewelry stops being an occasion and starts being something you wear on a Tuesday.
Rain Jewelry — from $13

Sixty-four pairs of earrings in stock, plus necklaces and bracelets. Rain leans silver and oxidized finishes with Southwestern and nature motifs — the kind of thing that reads as Texas without being a longhorn.
What’s in right now:
- Silver Blue Butterfly Earring — $13
- Silver Swirl Top Organic Painted Earring — $15
- Silver Turquoise Accent Hummingbird Earring — $18
- Silver Abalone Shell Flip Flop Earring — $18
- Silver Oxidized Southwestern Lone Star Earring — $20
Necklaces run $20–$33, bracelets $19 and up.
Who it’s for: someone who wears the same two pairs constantly and needs a third. Under $20 means you can buy it without a reason.
Splendid Iris — from $18

Seventy-eight pairs of earrings, plus necklaces, rings, bracelets and bangles. Splendid Iris skews gold, cleaner, more classic — huggies, thin hoops, studs. Less pattern, more shape.
- 4mm round huggies, Gold — $18
- Small gilded hoop, Gold — $19
- Lightly textured large thin hoops, Silver — $23
- Alphabet initial earrings, Gold — $18
Rings run $17–$25, bracelets $10–$35, necklaces $14–$43.
Worth knowing: some of the studs come mounted on a velvet gift tag — including a red velvet Christmas tag that’s already in stock. That’s a wrapped gift with no wrapping required, which is exactly what you want in December.
Rain or Splendid Iris?
The honest short version:
| Rain | Splendid Iris | |
|---|---|---|
| Metal | Mostly silver, oxidized | Mostly gold |
| Feel | Motif-driven, Southwestern, nature | Clean shapes, classic |
| Entry price | $13 | $18 |
| Buy it for | Someone with a look | Someone building a basics set |
If you genuinely don’t know the person’s taste: gold huggies at $18. It’s the least wrong thing in the case.
The Under-$40 Gift Strategy
This price band solves a specific problem — the gift that has to feel personal without being a commitment. Teacher, coworker, your kid’s friend’s mom, the person who hosted last weekend.
- One pair, wrapped: $13–$25. Reads as thoughtful, not heavy.
- Two pairs for two people: under $40 total. The move when you have several to cover.
- Earrings plus a card: still under $30, and the card does more work than people expect.
Everything gets wrapped free at the counter, so you can walk in without a gift bag in the car.
