Holiday Gift Boxes at The Shops at Terrell: Built From Our Shelves, About $20 to $90
A Box Is Easier Than a Gift
Every box in this post was put together from what’s on our shelves in Suite 112 — no stock photos, nothing ordered in. We built them to answer the question we hear most from October on: what do I get someone when I don’t know exactly what they want?
The answer, most of the time, is three or four smaller things that go together. A box takes the pressure off any single item being perfect. It also looks like a lot more effort than it was.
Prices below are rough — the total moves a few dollars depending on scent, color, and what’s in stock that week.
The Desk Box — about $20

A Mary Square to-do notepad, a matching pen, and a Greenleaf Gingerbread sachet tucked in so the whole thing smells like December when it’s opened.
Who it’s for: the coworker, the teacher, the neighbor who takes in your packages. It’s the box version of “I thought about you,” and it lands under twenty dollars.
The Gorky González Box — about $65

Hand-painted Gorky González stoneware from Guanajuato — a pair of turtle salt and pepper shakers and a small bird plate — with a Voluspa Baltic Amber mini tin.
Who it’s for: the host, the mother-in-law, the person whose kitchen you already know. Every Gorky piece is painted by hand, so no two boxes look quite the same.
The Pusheen Box — about $40

Pusheen gel pens, the Pusheen lip balm and hand lotion set, Pusheen nail stickers, and a Greenleaf sachet.
Who it’s for: the 9-to-14 range. This is the box that gets opened first and talked about longest.
The Reindeer Box — about $25

Pacha Soap’s Rudy Red bath bomb paired with a Splendid Iris enamel reindeer necklace — plus a Ty Christmas Blind Ball if you want to push it just past $25.
Who it’s for: nieces, granddaughters, the kid on the exchange list. Small enough to mail, cute enough to photograph.
The Beekman Box — about $65

The Beekman 1802 White Chocolate Strawberry set (the yellow Kindness Cafe box), a Pacha Balsam & Pine snowflake bath bomb, a Seven Blessings bar soap, and Ty’s Gingerbread Holly sitting on top.
Who it’s for: anyone who could use a long bath and a day off. This one reads as a spa gift without the spa price.
The Swig Box — around $90

A Swig 30 oz Mega Mug in the hydrangea print, a zip-up manicure set, and a Voluspa mini tin candle. Drop the manicure set and it’s closer to $60.
Who it’s for: the person who carries a tumbler everywhere. Which, in Kaufman County, is most people.
The Western One

A cow-print wallet with our Howdy and cowboy boot trinket dishes ($7 each). It’s the box people photograph before they’ve decided to buy it.
How to Get One
Bring a budget and a name. Tell us who it’s for, and we’ll help you pull the pieces together from the shelves — it usually takes about ten minutes. Everything is wrapped free at the counter.

Come in before mid-November if you can. The boxes above are built from current stock, and the pieces that make them work — the Gorky shakers, the Beekman sets, the hydrangea Swig — come in small quantities. By December, we’re building around what’s left.
